Best AI visibility tools for small stores, by published price and limits
Research-based, not yet tested
Verdict: On list prices we could read, OtterlyAI Lite is the lowest paid entry at $29 a month for 15 prompts. Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit is $99 a month per domain, billed annually, for 25 prompts. SE Ranking Core lists 100 prompts a day from $103.20 a month on annual billing, but the AI Results Tracker for AI Overviews, AI Mode, and ChatGPT is a separate add-on. Profound's public pricing page is a 7-day trial plus custom Enterprise, which is more than most small stores need to start. Peec AI's dollar prices did not render on its official page, so this is not a complete price ranking. We have not used these products, and this is not a quality score.

How we evaluated this list
We opened each vendor's pricing page on October 26, 2026 and copied the prices and limits that were in the page text. We did not create accounts. The label on every tool is "Research-based, not yet tested." The methodology explains what a later hands-on test has to include before that label can change. Affiliate status is not a column in the table and did not set the order.
OtterlyAI
Research-based, not yet tested
OtterlyAI's pricing page lists Lite at $29 a month for 15 search prompts, Standard at $189 a month for 100, and a $489 a month plan for 400 prompts. The page's own feature comparison calls that third tier Premium, and the custom tier is described as "everything in Premium," starting from 1,000 prompts. Every one of those plans tracks four engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot. Claude, Google AI Mode, and Gemini are add-ons. The page says add-on prices are in US dollars and vary by plan. We are not quoting the add-on grid here because the table did not read cleanly enough to pin a dollar amount to a single plan without a doubt.
Daily tracking, citation-source tracking, and brand visibility are listed on Lite and up. The pricing FAQ says a free trial exists for new users and does not say how long it lasts. Monthly and annual billing both exist. We did not see a single annual discount percentage that applies to every plan.
Who it fits, from the limits alone: a store that wants to watch a handful of prompts (the brand, two or three products, and a few "best X" questions) without an annual contract. Fifteen prompts runs out quickly if you track several engines' worth of topics, several languages, or a long catalog. That is a limit comment, not a test of data quality.
OtterlyAI's help center says the referral program is only for agency partners, ambassadors, and "OtterlyAI friends," and that applicants should email [email protected]. The help page does not publish a commission rate. The link below is an ordinary link, not an affiliate link.
OtterlyAI pricing Not an affiliate link. OtterlyAI's referral program is limited to agency partners, ambassadors, and friends, and we have not been accepted.
Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit
Research-based, not yet tested
Semrush's AI pricing page lists one self-serve plan: $99 a month per domain, billed annually. It includes 25 custom prompts with daily AI rankings, one domain for brand performance, mentions from ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini, and Perplexity, competitor and prompt research, and a site audit for AI readiness. The page says "Google AI," not a more specific product name, so we are not rewriting that as AI Overviews or AI Mode.
We did not see a monthly (non-annual) price, a price for a second domain, or a trial length on that pricing page. Semrush's affiliate page pays $10 for a free-trial activation and lists the AI Visibility Toolkit at $100 in the base commission row, which implies a trial exists. We are not treating the affiliate page's "14-day trial" line as the product's trial length, because that line sits with partner-tier perks.
Who it fits, from the limits alone: a store with one domain that wants four named engines and can commit to annual billing. Twenty-five prompts is a bit more room than Otterly Lite and much less than SE Ranking Core's 100. The toolkit is an AI product, not Semrush's full SEO suite. If you need keyword tracking and site audits in the classic sense, that is a different Semrush plan and a different price.

SE Ranking
Research-based, not yet tested
SE Ranking sells SEO and GEO together. Core is $129 a month, shown as $103.20 a month when billed annually: 10 projects, 1 manager seat, 2,000 keywords, and 100 prompts tracked daily. Growth is $279 a month, or $223.20 a month annually: 30 projects, 3 seats, 5,000 keywords, and 250 prompts a day. Both plans say they track 5 LLMs. The pricing page does not name those five.
A separate AI Search add-on is $89 a month, or $71.20 a month on annual billing. SE Ranking describes it as the AI Results Tracker for AI Overviews, AI Mode, and ChatGPT, plus a 200-prompt dashboard for brand mentions, citations, and sentiment. Core already lists GEO prompt limits and "AI sources" tracking. We cannot tell from the pricing page whether Core's 100 daily prompts include that AI Results Tracker or sit beside it. Do not assume the tracker is included. Ask before you subscribe, or read the plan details inside a trial.
The 14-day trial includes 20 AI prompts a day, up to 10 projects, 750 tracked keywords a day, and AI competitive research for up to 3 domains. The affiliate program is open to free accounts as well as paid ones. SE Ranking's pages say the commission is 30% of payments, including later rebills, with a 120-day cookie, a $50 minimum, and payouts every 14 days by PayPal, Payoneer, or account balance. Brand-bidding and using the trademark in a domain are prohibited. That program is why the button below is marked as an affiliate link. It did not put SE Ranking above a cheaper verified plan in the table.
Who it fits, from the limits alone: a store that wants rank tracking and an audit in the same bill as a large daily prompt allowance, and that will confirm the add-on. It is a poor fit if all you want is 15 prompts and a monthly cancel.

Peec AI
Research-based, not yet tested
Peec AI's pricing page names Starter, Pro, Advanced, and Enterprise plans, and it has a monthly/annual control. The dollar amounts load in the browser. They were not in the HTML we could read on October 26, 2026, so this page does not quote a Peec price. A price we cannot see is not a price we will print.
What the page does state, in text, is an AI Shopping section: a product catalog fetched from Shopify or uploaded as a CSV (including a Google Merchant Center file), and SKU-level visibility, position, and win rate on top of brand-level metrics. It also describes prompt classifications (branded or not; informational, commercial, or transactional) and source classifications. Which plan includes AI Shopping was not stated in the HTML we read.
Who it fits, from the public page alone: a Shopify store that cares about product-level mentions, after you open the pricing page in a browser and write down the number yourself. We are not Peec customers. Peec's referral program requires an active customer account, so the link below cannot pay us.
Peec AI pricing Not an affiliate link. Peec AI's referral program is for active customers. We are not customers, so this link cannot pay us.
Profound
Research-based, not yet tested
Profound's pricing page, read on October 26, 2026, shows two offers. The trial is free: 50 prompts run daily for 7 days across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews. Trial users get a recommended prompt set and cannot customize it. Enterprise is custom, with a tailored prompt plan and up to 9 answer engines.
The pricing FAQ also mentions a self-serve Agency Growth plan with 400 agent credits a month per client workspace. It does not put a dollar price on that plan. A Profound blog post from November 11, 2025 says an Agency Growth client workspace is an add-on at $399 a month, with 100 custom prompts, and that extra pitch workspaces are $199 a month for five. Profound's docs still describe self-serve Starter and Growth credit allotments. Those Starter and Growth prices are not on the current pricing page, so we are not treating them as plans you can buy today.
Who it fits, from the public page alone: someone who wants a one-week snapshot and can accept Profound's prompt list, or an agency comparing the blog's $399 workspace figure with a fresh quote. A small store that wants to pick its own prompts and pay a published monthly price should look at OtterlyAI, Semrush, or SE Ranking instead. We earn nothing if you choose Profound. The link is a normal link.

What a small store should actually track
The tools sell prompt slots. A slot is one question you keep on the list. For a store with a short catalog, a useful first list is smaller than the enterprise plans imply:
- The store name, and the store name plus "reviews" or "legit," so you can see branded answers.
- Two or three non-branded questions a shopper would ask ("best [product] for [use]").
- One question per top product, written the way a customer talks, not the way a keyword tool talks.
- One competitor comparison you are willing to read even if you are not mentioned.
That set often lands around 15 to 25 prompts. Otterly Lite and the Semrush toolkit can hold a list that size. SE Ranking Core's 100-a-day allowance is headroom, not a requirement to fill every slot. Running the same question three times matters, because AI answers change. We have not published a manual worksheet yet. When we do, it will live in this section and it will be labeled as a method, not as a result from our store.
Which tool for which budget
- Trying the idea for a week, at no monthly price: Profound's 7-day trial, with the constraint that you cannot edit the prompts.
- Under $30 a month, cancel monthly: OtterlyAI Lite, if 15 prompts and the four included engines are enough. Budget extra if you need Gemini, Claude, or AI Mode.
- About $100, one domain, annual billing: Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit at $99, for 25 prompts across the four engines the page names.
- You also want classic SEO tools: SE Ranking Core, and a direct answer from SE Ranking about whether the AI Search add-on is required for AI Overviews. The SE Ranking vs. Semrush page goes further on this choice.
- You need a price we could not read: open Peec AI's pricing page in a browser before you compare it. We left it off the dollar sort on purpose.
None of these lines is a recommendation from using the product. The full grid, including the cost-per-prompt math, is the pricing index.
Frequently asked questions about AI visibility tools
What is an AI visibility tool?
It tracks a list of prompts in products such as ChatGPT, Google's AI answers, Perplexity, Gemini, or Copilot, and reports whether your brand is mentioned or cited. Stores also call this GEO or AEO. This page compares published prices and limits, not measured accuracy.
Which AI visibility tool is cheapest for a small store?
Among monthly prices we could read on October 26, 2026, OtterlyAI Lite is the lowest paid entry at $29 a month for 15 prompts. Profound's trial is free for 7 days and is not a subscription. Peec AI's prices were not in the official page HTML, so they are not in this ranking.
Do small stores need Profound?
Profound's pricing page offers a free 7-day trial and a custom Enterprise plan. The trial runs 50 prompts a day and you cannot edit that prompt set. That is a short look, not a small-store subscription. A November 11, 2025 Profound blog post describes an Agency Growth workspace at $399 a month, and that price is not on the current pricing page.
Does CartCited earn a commission on these tools?
SE Ranking and Semrush links are affiliate placeholders with no tracking ID yet. OtterlyAI, Peec AI, and Profound links are ordinary links. We earn nothing from Profound. Commissions do not change the order of this page. The sort is verified entry price.
Changelog
- October 26, 2026: First publication. Prices and limits were read from the vendor pages linked on this page. Peec AI dollar amounts are omitted because they were not in the pricing page HTML. Older Profound self-serve prices that are not on the current pricing page are omitted except for the November 11, 2025 Agency Growth blog figure, which is labeled as a blog figure.
